Great Western Canadian Steam

October 2006 found Canada’s Rocky Mountains echoing with the powerful sound of steam on the rails. With great co-operation from the railways and crews, Sean Ropchan captured the autumn spectacle of steam locomotives in Western Canada. This awsome documentary features three steam locomotives that were all operating during the span of one week in British Columbia. CPR 3716 on the Kettle Valley line at Summerland BC, CNR 2141 from Kamloops and CPR 2816 on the CPR’s mainline running home to Calgary, Alberta.
